We finally made it to Hollywood! Ellen is now a judge and I think she is doing a great job- very funny. Her and Simon really play well off of each other with the jokes and comments and all. Well, my favorite guy so far has already been kicked off (go figure). That knuckle head forget the lyrics! Guess I have to find someone else to pull for. I did see one guy that seemed to stand out- his wife was having their first child at the same time he had to go on stage with his group. Very sweet and emotional story.
Group week has always had it share of drama and this one was no different. One group of five that included one of the older female contestants got the award this year for most dysfunctional group. It wouldn't hurt my feelings for that entire group to get kicked off! There were a couple of copy cat groups and some more weird and funky dance moves, but nothing to memorable. Upcoming for next week- the top 24 will be selected. Stay tuned......

Hi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I watched it last night and loved the suspense of waiting to see who made it the top 24 and who weren't quite what the judges were looking for. I can't recall the name of any of the constestants but there was a young lady that just couldn't take "no" for an answer. She made every excuse possible as to why the judges were wrong in their decision. I'm puzzled as to how so many people think they have an incredbible voice when it's so obvious that compared to others they don't. I understand believing believing in yourself but I don't quite understand how people can't see the difference in the comparison of talent levels. Even when the strengths in certain music genres are exposed, you can still tell who has talent and who doesn't.
Hey Udon,
ReplyDeleteI understand what you are saying- some people just don't get it! I think that overall, the guys are going to take it again this year. They are just so strong and personable compared to the girls. And what is up with the girl with the white/gray hair? Some one needs to tell her that it just doesn't look good/cool/whatever.
Thanks for following!
